The keyboard has come of age, and now it’s only about adding more to this orthodox piece of computer peripheral. Logitech, living on the trend, has announced the G13 Gaming keyboard. The keyboard provides 25 programmable keys and a joystick and can be attached to the Logitech keyboard and mouse for hassle-free gaming. The Logitech G13 Gameboard comes in three game modes, with ample buttons and Logitech’s promise of providing 87 different ways of controlling the game. The G13 houses a 160 x 43-pixel GamePanel LCD to show the game statistics and messaging. The Gameboard back-lighting on the buttons has pre-configured settings for some popular games, including World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The gamer can customize it to his liking, and to top things off the G13 can also create macros on the fly. With 20MB of memory, the Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard will make you poorer by $80 and will be out in the US and Europe later this month.
